Would she stoop so low to lie about being in an accident? whats going on in her head?

Then beg her to be honest with herself and ask her if she could willingly live a lie. Being with a husband, the lies, the attention she obviously wants from you, all that. And say what you feel for her, because then maybe she will understand the terrible things that she is putting you through. If not, then tell her that too.
