Are the Republicons purposely trying to sabotage the economy to win 2012.?

It's not all GOP that is doing this!! we shouldn't raise the debt ceiling because we are just going to get ourselves into even more debt...not like we will ever get ourselves out of the debt we are in now...and we don't need government jobs to fuel America...the sole purpose of government is to protect the people's rights...and you have to have jobs before you can male a jobs bill...remember the only job of a government is to protect the rights of the people
