Why do females now talk about multiple sex partners openly and freely as if it is normal?

Is it normal now? I find it inappropriate and disgusting and demeaning and self sabotaging. I had a conversation with a girl a month ago. She said specifically that her friends like to find guys and F__k. I said wow that's really trashy. I never thought she would be offended but, as it turned out, she too like to "hook up" and said that certain women fall into different demographics. I said that all females want a monogamous relationship and if they said they didn't they were lying. At any rate. She didn't like me and I think she's a whore that I could never respect or get along with. What are your opinions on this matter?
